Quick Review: Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation

My Colour: 240 Soft Beige

Retail price and location: about $5.97 at Walmart.

Pros: Actually looks “poreless”. Great colour selection - I found a perfect match. I’ve been using it about a month and it hasn’t made my sensitive skin break out. It’s cheap!

Cons: It sweats off easily.

My rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ (five hearts. For quality AND price.)

I discovered this product when I was rushing through walmart after forgetting my normal CoverFX foundation at home. I needed something for my weekend at the cottage and didn’t want to buy something pricey as I was only going to need it for about 3 days.

It was literally the cheapest product I could find.

I had a lot of doubts about it at first. I’ve never had good luck with Rimmel products and it was so cheap. But I’ve actually come to love it a lot. I find myself using it almost as much as I use my CoverFX.

Below is a section of a photo I took after using the Clean Finish foundation. I was highly impressed that it actually turned out looking “poreless”, as the bottle claims.

Over-all, I’m highly impressed with this product, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good foundation for dirt cheap!
